JUNGLE'S BOOK II
WORKSHOP ANTHROPOCENE
2019

Workshop on anthropocene in a fablab.
During this workshop, we have worked on the problem of the Anthropocene. We had to create a micro edition aimed at children from 8 to 12 years old and with imposed techniques: screen printing and laser cutting. The goal was to show where their food came from and the different solutions to improve their consumption. The cover of this edition includes a pre- cut pot, in which, once mounted, it will be able to plant the seeds provided. Our edition is mainly composed of wood and cardboard, natural and biodegradable materials. In terms of colors, we opted for fluorescent colors, far from the natural side. These colors express the chemical side and come to fade in favor of natural matter. We have throughout the book, a « degradation » effect that illustrates the degradation of the land. We made random and unique solids in serigraphy, in the image of nature. These prints are the background, the texture and the illustration.
